Each year, a full tuition bursary is awarded to one applicant from Kirkland Lake's College and Job Preparation (academic upgrading) program. The successful student:

• Has mature student status;
• Demonstrates financial need;
• Is registered in the KL upgrading program prior to December;
• Has applied and been accepted to a full-time, post-secondary program at the KL Campus;
• Demonstrates academic progress.
